Avon Valley Adventure Park in Keynsham has been hit with a power cut, leaving visitors in the dark. The park, located near Bristol, experienced the outage following a larger power cut that affected nearly 450 properties in the Almondsbury area. The incident was reported to National Grid around 11.15am on May 25, with properties in the BS32 and BS35 postcode zones left without power.

The earlier power cut seems to have been fixed by Sunday afternoon, but Avon Valley Adventure Park is still grappling with its own power issues. In a Facebook post at 1.30pm on Sunday, the park shared that they are working hard to keep shows and activities running despite the limitations caused by the outage. National Grid has been called to the site and is expected to arrive at 2:00 PM to investigate the problem. The park assured visitors that they are doing everything they can to make the visit enjoyable, even in the face of challenges.

As a gesture of goodwill, the park is offering all guests visiting on that day a free return visit that can be used anytime during the rest of May half term. Visitors will receive a voucher via email, with no action required on their part. The park apologized for any inconvenience caused and thanked visitors for their patience and understanding during this time. If visitors have any questions, they are encouraged to speak with any team members on-site for assistance.
