A stunning Winter Wonderland house just north of Bristol is gearing up to dazzle visitors with over 100,000 twinkling lights. Winterbourne Wonderland, hosted by Ricky and Chrissie Fenning, is doubling its light count from last year, making it one of the most spectacular home displays in the UK. In addition to the mesmerizing lights, visitors can enjoy free candy canes and stickers for the little ones.

The enchanting display will transport guests to the magical scenes of the North Pole, complete with a miniature Santa’s workshop bustling with moving worker elves, a towering 12ft Christmas tree surrounded by a festive train, and a heartwarming Nativity display featuring an illuminated Shaun the Sheep figure. The Winterbourne Wonderland also boasts an Enchanted Forest with a life-sized unicorn, a mystical wishing well, a color-changing water fountain, and more surprises. Visitors will also be delighted to see an official lit Gromit figure at the display.

The grand switch-on event is scheduled for November 23 at 6pm, with Wallace and Gromit mascots making an appearance from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. The lights will continue to shine daily from November 24 to January 1, from 4.30pm until 9pm. Moreover, Christmas music nights featuring holiday favorites will be held on select dates, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Over the past three years, Winterbourne Wonderland visitors have raised nearly £11,000 for Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal, with £8,000 collected in 2023 alone. This year, the organizers aim to exceed £9,000 in donations, emphasizing that every contribution makes a meaningful impact. Visitors can make donations via contactless card payments, cash donations at the secure ‘donation station,’ or online through QR codes that link to Just Giving, where Gift Aid can increase donations by 25% at no extra cost.

To ensure the safety of visitors and maintain the display’s pristine condition, organizers kindly request that children be supervised at all times and refrain from touching the decorations. Winterbourne Wonderland is located at 102 Down Road, Winterbourne Down, Bristol, BS36 1DG, with limited parking available on Down Road. On busier nights, additional parking can be found along Hicks Common Road, BS36 1EH, just a short walk away.

In the spirit of spreading joy and supporting a good cause, visitors are encouraged to share their Winterbourne Wonderland experience on social media and help raise awareness for the charity fundraising efforts.
