An exciting new addition to Bristol’s culinary scene is on the horizon, as award-winning Thai restaurant Rosa’s Thai is gearing up to open its doors in the city center next month. With a promise to deliver authentic Thai cuisine in a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere, Rosa’s Thai has quickly become a favorite among casual diners across the UK.

Originating as a humble street food cart at Brick Lane’s Sunday market in London’s East End, Rosa’s Thai was founded by the talented duo of Saiphin and Alex Moore in 2008. Saiphin’s deep-rooted passion for the flavors of her homeland inspired the creation of Rosa’s Thai, which has since gained widespread acclaim for its traditional dishes such as Pad Kra Pow Chilli Basil Stir Fry and Gaeng Kiew Wan Green Curry.

Of all the mouthwatering offerings at Rosa’s Thai, one dish stands out as a true crowd-pleaser – the Pad Thai. Renowned as the ‘best in the UK’, this signature dish features freshly cooked noodles tossed in Saiphin’s homemade tamarind sauce, along with eggs and a variety of add-ons, all topped off with a generous sprinkling of crunchy crushed peanuts.

In addition to delighting diners with their delectable fare, the team at Rosa’s Thai is committed to supporting the local community in Bristol. Collaborating with organizations such as Lost and Grounded, they will be offering a selection of local craft beers like Pale Ale. Furthermore, Rosa’s Thai will be contributing to The Mazi Project, a Bristol-based food charity dedicated to empowering young people through culinary experiences, by donating a portion of dessert sales to support their impactful work.

Situated in the historic former Post Office building at the corner of Baldwin Street and Marsh Street, Rosa’s Thai’s new Bristol location is set to open its doors on Tuesday, September 24. To celebrate their arrival in the city, Rosa’s Thai will be offering a generous 50% discount on their entire menu during the soft-launch period from Monday, September 9 to Monday, September 23.

Excited about the upcoming launch, co-founder Saiphin Moore expressed her enthusiasm for bringing the vibrant flavors of Thailand to Baldwin Street, stating, “Thai flavors and Thai vibes are at the heart of everything we do at Rosa’s, and I can’t wait to share my recipes and food with Bristol.”

For those eager to be among the first to experience Rosa’s Thai in Bristol, bookings for the soft launch can be made online. Operating hours for the restaurant will be from 12pm to 10:30pm Monday through Thursday, 12pm to 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12pm to 9pm on Sundays.
